Resourceroom runs to construct a barrier-free environment on campus and to promote the quality of life among physically and mentally challenged students.

Our goal is to assist students to overcome their difficulties in learning, living, and other obstacles they may face. Also, we would like to promote students’ ability to solve problems, tolerate frustration, enhance their interpersonal communication skills, and plan their future.

Therefore, we provide some service to support students who are experiencing difficulties and academic failure.

Personal tutor

Resourceroom contributes to the University's goals by providing support and advice to disabled students on educational problems in order to enhance their academic performance and the University community life.

Thus, we provide personal tutor services to support students who are experiencing difficulties and academic failure.

Counseling Service

We offer individual appointments, vocational testing and consultation service.

Speech/ Workshop

We invite well-known scholars and teachers to hold various kinds of speeches and forums from time to time. The theme includes interpersonal communication skills, career development, self-development and learning, etc.

Staff continuing education

We play the major role in communicating the needs of disabled students to the school.  We provide advice, support and training to University staff enabling them to better meet the needs of students experiencing disability./p>

Meeting of IEP (Individualized Education Program)

Students with delayed skills or other disabilities might be eligible for special services that provide individualized education programs in university.  This meeting is in order to understand their special needs during the university life.

Mini Library

We have not only literature and fiction collections, but also magazines of living and psychology.Moreover, we have excellent collections of films about psychology and entertainment.All the teachers and students with the teacher or student ID can loan 2 books each time; and the returning deadline is one week.

Students’ Activities

In order to enhance students' interpersonal communication skills, we also hold many activities for disabled students.  They are able to make more friends when they attend to activities.
